BookIt ONE administrator guide overview
Updated October 31, 2026 · Applies to BookIt ONE 1.34
As a BookIt ONE administrator, you decide what customers can book, with whom and when. Users, locations, people and holidays are set up the same way in every product: see the Platform ONE administrator guide.
Key capabilities
- Services: what can be booked, how long it takes, its price, and the staff, rooms or equipment it needs.
- Staff and resources: who and what can be booked, with skills and working hours.
- Booking rules: notice, how far ahead, self-service changes, approvals and reminders.
- Customers: how customers get an account, and their profiles.
- Booking form: your own questions on the booking page, and what staff record on a booking.
How it works
BookIt ONE uses what you set up in Platform ONE:
| Platform ONE setting | What BookIt ONE uses it for |
|---|---|
| Locations | Services, staff and resources belong to a location. Customers choose between active locations. |
| Holidays | No appointments are offered on public holidays, unless a holiday is open for bookings. |
| Calendar sync | Busy times in staff calendars close their booking times; online appointments get a Teams or Meet link. |
| Business rules | Booking rules, Booking approval, Reminder emails and Resource types. |
| Studio | The booking form, the booking details form, and the wording of emails. |
If your organization also has PTO ONE, approved time off blocks bookings.
