Set up bay services

A service is a kind of visit drivers book, such as a full truckload delivery or a pickup: how long it takes, and which bays fit.

Prerequisites#

• The Admin role.
• Your bays. See Set up sites and bays.

Add a service#

1. In the menu, under Administration, select Services, and then select Add service.

2. Enter the Name, Description, Location, Duration (minutes) and buffers.

3. Under What this service needs, select Add requirement:

   Field	Description
   Type	The bay type.
   Any of	The bays that can take it.
   Needs skills	For example Dock-high: only bays with it are offered.
   Customer picks	Lets the driver choose the bay, or Any available.

4. For loads that must be checked first, such as hazardous goods, turn on Online bookings need staff approval. Dispatchers and site managers approve them.

5. Select Save.
