Use the gate
Updated October 31, 2026 · Applies to BayCheck ONE 1.34
The Gate page lists today's trucks at your site: expected, waiting in the yard, at a bay and departed. You move each truck along as it goes through the site.
Prerequisites
- The Reception, Manager or Admin role.
Find a truck
- In the menu, under Workspace, select Gate.
- Choose the site, and On site and expected or All today. To find one truck, search by its reference or plate.
Each row shows the booked time and reference, the carrier and plate, what it's here for, its bay and its stage. Once checked in, it shows how early or late the truck reached the gate, and once departed, how long it was on site. Walk-ins and self check-ins are marked.
Move a truck along
| Stage | Button | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Expected | Check in | The truck is waiting in the yard. |
| Expected | No-show | After you confirm, the bay becomes free. |
| Waiting in yard | To bay | The truck goes to its bay. If the bay is taken, Move to … offers another suitable free bay. |
| At bay | Start loading | Loading or unloading has started. |
| At bay, or loading | Departed | The truck has left. Its time on site is recorded. |
Check in a walk-in
For a truck without a booking:
- Select Walk-in.
- Choose what it's Here for, and enter the License plate, Carrier / company, Driver's name and Driver's phone.
- Select Book and check in.
It gets the next free slot today on a suitable bay, and is checked in at once.
