Manage sample data

A new Stakeholder ONE environment usually comes with sample data: realistic accounts, stakeholders and projects, with timelines, risks, deliverables, discussions and demo users. Use it to explore the app or train your team, then remove it when you start working with real data. You can load it again at any time.

Prerequisites#

• The System Administrator role, or a role with the Administer permission.

See what sample data you have#

Select your avatar, and then select Sample data. Under Status, the page shows Sample data present with a count of each type of sample record, or No sample data.

When sample data is present, the page also shows the password the demo users sign in with. Their sign-in addresses end in @example.com.

Remove sample data#

1. On the Sample data page, select Remove sample data, and confirm.

Every sample record is permanently deleted, including the demo users. Records that you or your users created are kept. However, anything added inside a sample record, such as a risk on a sample project or a comment on a sample account, is deleted with it.

Load sample data#

1. On the Sample data page, select Load sample data.
